Residencies and Outreach....

From time to time I am asked to conduct a specific project with public school students. My appreciation for enthusiastic pupils and my love of teaching make these residencies especially rewarding for me. My goal in these sessions is to impart as much of my expertise on those eager to learn, while maintaining an atmosphere of fun and excitement. I believe, especially for the young student, the creative process should be a joyous experience.

Recent residency conducted at Art Life Studios involving a class from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers.  

The Roosevelt students previously visited The Hudson River Museum to view an exhibit of anatomical body parts. They came to Art Life Studios to create their own version of the anatomical theme, with an emphases on making the sculptures a personal narrative representing some aspect of their personalities.
